Flight Safety

My Uncle Robby (who is obsessed with flying and has his license), cousins Kayley and Brandon, Adrian and I went down to Hobby Airport to "play" in the simulators. Adrian's brother is a flight instructor and let us take turns behind the wheel. Scary! We flew to New York and took a tour around Manhattan and to San Fransisco.

HUGE machines!

These screens could change the weather conditions, runway conditions, etc. We had fun messing with Brandon while he was flying. We gave him hail! (literally)

Brandon...about to crash into the Golden Gate Bridge.

Hold on! Kayley's in control.

Robby is in heaven.

Our Flight Attendant, Kayley.

The wrap around screen was so real and the movement was just like you're on a plane. Made my stomach turn a couple of times.

On the Boardwalk

We took a spontaneous trip down to Kemah today. Kim, Adrian, and I and the 3 kiddos headed to the Boardwalk for a much needed break from Bryan.

All the kids in the back...and I mean ALL (look close!)

Cristiano is using his secret spy telescope to check out the sights.

Round and round we go!

Eli and Mommy riding the Aviator. I barely fit.
Up, up, and away!

Maile...racing to the finish on her beautiful horse.

Eli won a Scooby Do at one of the target shooting games.

Feeding and petting the stingrays.

Eli couldn't wait to ride the train. It's all he talked about the whole day.

Kim...screaming like a little girl on the kiddie ride. It was hilarious!

We finished with dinner and live music and made it home by midnight. Sweaty, sticky, and tired but it was worth it. The kids had a blast!

Backyard Fun

Eli's friends gave him this outdoor play house. They are too big for it now and knew it would be just his size. Thanks Maile and Cristiano!

Even Mommy fits inside.

Our little dare devil.

Potty Time!

Eli is doing amazingly well with his new potty. He took an interest a few weeks ago and now we're in full potty training mode. He loves to read and he tells me to "go away" or "close the door" when he is doing his business. Hope it lasts!

Bombers Game

Eli's first baseball game.

First encounter with Cookie Monster.

....hiding from Cookie Monster.

Little Miss Maile

"If Cristiano and Maile like Cookie Monster...then I guess I'll be ok".

Goooo Bombers!
