Easter

 Gabe's first Easter

Eli and Gabe are eating our traditional Sicilian Easter Bread called Pupo con l'uovo.

Every other year we have Easter out at PawPaw's country with the Patranella family.  Our family has grown so big.  My grandmother and her sister both had 5 children and from there we have grown into over 80 people.

This is how we stuff eggs...

Looking for the $20 egg.  He wasn't so lucky.

Gabe @ 11 Months

Gabe is getting so big, so fast.  He is eating more table food and cries when it gets taken away.  Like mother, like son.  He looks like a speed walker racing through the house, chasing his brother (or running away from his brother).  I can't believe that in one month we'll be celebrating his 1st birthday!

Houston Zoo

We took Eli and Gabe to the zoo for the first time.  Katy, Jake and Anna came too.  I thought it wouldn't be very crowded on a Thursday...I was wrong.  But the kids had a good time and I can check this one off the list for now.  We'll go back someday when Gabe's old enough to remember it.

Cowboys and Pony Rides

Chase turned 1! Hotdogs, pony rides, and sack races were some favorites of his celebration.

Chase and Gabe

Yeehaw!

Gabe @ 10 Months

Our precious boy is 10 months old. He is walking all over the place. Trying to keep up with his big brother is pretty tough but he is managing. Gabe loves cars, balls, cups and anything that he can chew on.

"Look at me! I'm walking!"

Gabe @ 9 Months

Gabe is 9 months old today! He is getting his own little personality. So sweet and playful. He stands up on his own, takes a couple of steps then plops back down on his bottom. I'm sure he'll be off and walking in no time.

Rainforest Cafe

We took a quick trip to Rainforest Cafe. Eli's face lit up watching all the animals move and listening to the thunder and lightening. Gabe wasn't that interested so we'll have to go back someday when he is old enough to enjoy it. For now, we can cross it off the list.
